Join The Wrens WRNS Recruitment Poster Believed Original WW2 Era Propaganda

Original vintage "Join the Wrens" Women's Royal Naval Service recruitment poster, believed to date from the WWII era.

After extensive comparison and research against known examples currently on the market, this poster appears consistent with original wartime issues in terms of dimensions, extremely lightweight paper stock, print style, fold patterns, ageing and overall construction.

The poster weighs approximately 0.5 oz (around 14 grams), highlighting just how thin and lightweight the paper stock is compared to most modern reproductions. A photograph of the weight on scales is included within the listing photographs.

The colours remain particularly strong compared to many surviving examples, likely due to careful long-term storage away from excessive light or damp conditions. The poster still retains clear period characteristics including natural fold wear, creasing, edge wear, pinholes and age-related paper ageing consistent with vintage wartime paper items.

I am not a professional authentication expert or paper conservator, so this is being sold as believed original rather than absolutely guaranteed.
